Joining a bad or average college will not give you better opportunity in term of Internship and placement.But if you are focus and want to establish your career than you can do Engineering from any college and prepare yourself for the future.

But having a Engineering degree don't have a guarantee for success . Check your caliber and subjects foundation accordingly choose the field.
