Yes, you can move to city like Kolkata in order to complete your higher studies. But I would like to advise you to put the college in your preference list first. As the thing matter is the college not the city .

So, As per me I would suggest you to choose a good college doesn't matter either the city is Kolkata or any other city.

Look if you want to get explore yourself then you will move Kolkata. Kolkata is the metro city of West Bengal. There are so many top colleges are present for BBA,B.com. You can get admission in there and settle down in kolkata. You will get so many good companies for job in here also.  Because top most companies are present in kolkata other than another State. But Ranchi is also good city but if you want to explore yourself more then you should move to Kolkata.
