should I take admission in engineering college without clearing jee mains?is it right to do so?

Its really depends upon which college or University you are applying. There are many Universities where you can apply for admission without clearing JEE Mains.

I will advice you,  to choose Geeta University as it is the best private engineering college in northern India for B. Tech  because of its world-class computer labs, robotics labs, and the best infrastructure for research in emerging areas of computer science.

It depends on the college you're getting. If the college you're getting is better than the college you're getting through JEE then surely go for it. IITs, NITs, and IIITs are top institutions in the country along with IISC. Through JEE Main you can get admission in various colleges apart from these. Go for the best, whether through JEE or any other exam.

Hello.
yes, you can take admission in some colleges without giving JEE mains exam because some colleges accept admission on the basis of your class 12th score and some take your direct entry but you need to cross the basic eligibility criteria of class 12th marks and top institutes for engineering take admission on the basis of JEE mains and some are having their own entrance exam if you want to  get good college where placement is extremely good so I would suggest you to go with the JEE mains exam or own entrance exam of the university.
