Hi Amrutha, it is not any fixed rule that only cat has to be given in a year. It all depends upon you and what all target colleges you have kept. There are some colleges like Tata Institute of Social Sciences which doesnt accept CAT scores and hence you need to give TISSNET exam if you need to get into that college. Same goes with NMIMS, Mumbai you need to give NMAT and for Symbiosis, Pune you need to give SNAP etc. Some times you can also other exams like CMAT, MAT, ATMA,XAT etc. as most of the colleges not only accept CAT scores but also accept the other exams score which helps you in a sense if you failed to do well in CAT you can try using CMAT or MAT scores.
