Coming to your question I would like to tell you that yes you can change your branch in the respective college based on the percentage that you get in the first sem but the seats are very less so you have to score good to get your branched change and this happens after the first year ,

Yes, you can switch your stream in your college because in 1st-year courses are same in all steams because of the rule of UGC.

it depends on your college whether they switch in the 2nd semester or 3rd semester.
