One can clear Assistant District Attorney exam without coaching. Coaching helps in qualifying the exam but this hurdle can be overcome without coaching, because its candidates' knowledge and aptitude which helps them in exceling in an exam. As per the exam pattern, candidates will get 120 minutes to answer 100 Multiple Choice Questions. It means time will not be that much crucial but your level of knowledge will be. Go through the syllabus and prepare thoroughly. Take help of previous question papers and online medium. Syllabus

Recruitment process for the post of Assistant District Attorney (Group-B) comprises Recruitment Test followed by viva-voce. The syllabus for the Recruitment Test will be as under

Civil Law

i) Code of Civil Procedure

ii) Indian Evidence Act

iii) Indian Contract Act

iv) Indian PartnershiP Act

v) Sale of Goods Act

vi) Hindu Law

vii) Mohammadanlaw and Customary Law.

Criminal Law

i) Indian Penal Code

ii) Criminal Procedure Code

iii) Indian Evidence Act

There will be questions from General Awareness and English Language.

There will be only one paper comprising of 100 MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) from the syllabus. Total marks 100 (one mark for each question)with total duration of two hours. There will be no negative marking.
