Hello Parshu,

Educational Qualification for Talathi Exam is as follows:

Degree in any discipline or equivalent qualification as per the Revenue and Forest Department, Maharashtra.

As per Maharashtra Government General Administration Department, A Computer Qualification certificate CCC or O or A or B or C Level exam passed from DOEACC Government of India OR Maharashtra State Higher & Technical Educational Board Mumbai approved MS-COT exam passed.

If computer qualification not available at the time of application, the candidate must be passed the above exam within two years from the date of appointment.

So no, you will not be able to give this exam with a diploma in Computer Engineering.
