240 is really a good score.
Yes I think you will definitely get good NIT with cse branch. Like NIT KURUKSHETRA
NIT ALLAHABAD
NIT JAIPUR
etc .
But you should keep in mind that this time you will get 2nd chance to improve your score so the ranking v/s marks can fluctuate .
So I would suggest to score more in 2 nd attempt so that you have more good options with you( NIT WARANGAL NIT TRICHY NIT CALICUT etc.) and you are in strong condition.
