Some of the facts regarding the same:

• The highest placement now is somewhere around 18-20lpa
• Not many core companies do visit the campus. When they do, they offer a relatively lower package.
• There is a company visiting almost everyday. Most of them being consultancies, investment banking corporations, startups, educational institutions, multinational companies etc.
• Most of the students willing to take placements get them (some of the students opt for higher education, IAS etc)
• PEC has a good alumni base and the administration has started putting that to advantage in the recent times
• The placements depend much on the caliber of the students rather than on the institution.
