                    Look CAT has not own cutoffs, colleges has their own cutoffs. If get even 50 percentile then you are also eligible but in that percentile which colleges you will get, there is no meaning to do MBA. So, must keep that in mind you have to score at least 90 percentile(if you are from general category) in CAT to get call from from Top B-Schools(if you able to score that percentile, you may get call from top 40 B-Schools in India, their average package must be 10lacs/annum). To getting can from a college it doesn't depends only on your CAT score, it was depends on your Class 10,12,grads & work experience. Some colleges also has Stream & gender diversity (specially IIM'S). Accepting that, they will make a composite score for your profile. After getting call from a college based on your score, they will call you for GD round(in some colleges has their own criteria also, some has also case studies, WAT, Extempore etc but most of the top colleges has same procedure like GD). After Completing the GD round, they will Call for PI(Personal Interview). After that, taking the marks of GD-PI, they will make an composite score & on the basis of that score they shortlisted candidates. Now, according the list Candidates gets admission in the colleges.

Keep that in mind when it comes to MBA, then most of the colleges has their GD-PI round definitely.

Hello Krishan. After CAT, based on shortlisting criteria of different b-schools interviews are conducted. Along with interview, there can be written ability test, extempore round, gd round and psychometric test based on college. Along with CAT score, interview and other rounds depending upon college, also has different weightage. But at the end of the process, these b-schools are able to get the best available candidates.
