Yes, but it is only for the students of Maharshtra. Other students are allowed based on IIT, JEE scores.

For the academic year 2019-20, maharashtra government has set a common entrance test cell for all the exams of architecture , medical ,engineering etc which is SAAR and it is only for students of maharashtra. The students of maharashtra have to register themselves on the official website i.e. maha2019cap.org. whereas the students from other states can get direct admission in maharashtra colleges on the basis of their score in IIT JEE or MHCET etc.
