to be honest i dont feel gec raipur is great in respect to placements.

GEC, Raipur does not provide placements to the students as it is recently shifted to Sejbahar, Raipur. The old campus of GEC, Raipur is now the campus of NIT Raipur, so the training and placement cell is poor. The condition might be improved in the coming year, and the students may get placed.

In government engineering college raipur there are no placements. This is one of the main disadvantage of GEC. You have to go for off campus placement. Or you can give exams like GATE for PSUs. So please go for this college only if you want to study further after b.tech.
