You can get your gap certificate through any notary. It generally doesn't require any documents but you may need to show you last examination marksheet. If your University provides any gap certificate format, then you can get it attested through any notary.
The certificate is just a statement (affidavit) by you to tell that you hadn't participated in any educational exams for however many years you had taken a gap.
