Absolutely.. You have a good chance to get decent NIT with this marks. According to your marks..

You can expect your category rank around 1000-1200.

Which is enough for getting core as well as non core branches. You can get core branches like mechanical, electrical in some of top NITs like mnit allahabad, nitk and nitr.. However getting non core branch in above college is pretty difficult. Getting non core branches like CS, IT is easier in some of good NITs like mnit jaipur, nit kkr, nit j, nit Jalandhar, svnit and nit rajpur.

Make sincere and wise decisions while deciding branch and college of your interest as you are going to carry your branch for the lifetime.

We can't say that you will get good govt college or not. You should take part in counciling. You will get any college.

Yes. it is likely that you may get admission in NIT. For branches, you can check last year cutoffs which will be soon uploaded on JoSAA website. To my opinion, you may not get admission in good NIT with good branch. But you can get admission in any new NITs with top branch.
