Dear Vankar,

Part time polytechnic diploma course are avaliable.some of polytechnic colleges offer night course for employees only.it takes 5 years duration.basically for night class three courses avaliable i.e. Mechanical,Electrical and Civil engineering.

And also Institute of Engineers India offer diploma engineering.Exam happens twice a year.once in june and another in December,after passing this diploma you can admit for AMIE also from this institute.
