It's not complesary to get ebc certificate but you will have many advantages if you bring ebc certificate to get fee reimburment as you belongs to oc caste you no need any caste certificate but if you submit ebc it mean that you belongs to backward in income so you will get fee reimburment upto 35000 and rest you need to pay and if you want fee reimburment then you can submit or else no need to submit any caste certificate ,for document verification they will take Xerox of your ebc certificate and original you need to submit in college which your alloted so you need ebc if you want fee reimburment
