Congrats on getting a good rank. You have to choose the course that you want to study, and the one that suites you the most. You should go according to your interests. If you're interested in software or computer field, you can go for CSE. Or, if you like mechanics and machines, go for ME etc. And aslo, there are lots of specilaisation courses that are focused on a specific field. ANd, coming to college, you can try for the TOP NITs like NIT Warangal, Trichy, Rourkela, Calicut etc.
What you have to do is, fix the course first, and then go for the NIT/IIIT that you can get. You can check the cutoff in JoSAA website. And also, you have HS quota in your homestate NIT.
