A 12th passout with minimum 50% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and Mathematics is eligible for B.Tech Textile Engineering. Backward class categories and PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only should have minimum 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational taken together.

So , a total of 58% might not bag you a seat unless you have an aggregate score of more than 50% in the  above mentioned subjects.
