Dear Sudha, you write your improvement exams for a better score. So if you skip writing 1 exam, your old score will be considered and the aggregate will be calculated accordingly. In your case, if you were supposed to appear for 5 subjects but wrote 4 subjects then when tje final score is calculated, 4 new scores and 1 old score for the exam you didn't write will be considered and calculated accordingly.

Ma'am as per new rules we can give improvement in 1 or 2 subjects for nit's and iit's to make aggregate 75 percent unlike previous years but I heard that if we gave improvement in all 5 subjects than nta will accept the complete new marksheet, but I skipped physics inmproimpro exam, so will nta consider it for iit's, nit's and jee advance.
