Hy dear, 

As you have appeared for icar ug exam and as per your rank mentioned , its really difficult and unfortunately almost no chance to get seat in any government college for agri or fisheries or horticulture or agri engineering or biotech engg or any other course. 

The total seats are very few and approx 2000 total combined of all courses and agriculture basically has 1000+ seats only. 

So, as 30973 rank , there are almost no chances for a government seat. 

You can try for few private universities as well like-

• punjab agricultural uni, 
• RoorkeeCollege of Engineering,Roorkee.
• Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib.
• Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar.
• AKS University, Madhya Pradesh.

And many more. 

There you can easily get seats in Agriculture as they provide good placement depending on your skills and cgpa. 

You can also give state agricultural exams or try for santiniketan or such government college/ uni by giving their uni exams.
