I don't know which exam you are talking about. But if you have made another mistake in the form during correction also, then there are no ways to change it. I would recommend you to try to contact the regional office of the examination board you are concerned about or contact via the contact details given in the official website and get all this information discussed. If there are some exceptions that can be made then it can only be said by the officials.
