yes its definetly going to be a good choice  , because india is the 26th place in all over the world in the growth of the IT sector as there be will also a vast drastic change in this sector in the future too so there will a lot of good opportunities in future too in your native india only so there is no worry of going abroad for good opportunities as computer science is  a great demand  branch in all over the engineering colleges so there will be a lot of competetion for you to get a good college in CSE branch so you have to study well for it to get seat in your desired branch and in a good college , the syllabus of the CSE branch will also be very easy to study and quite logicaland intresting too but the main disadvantage is that there are no oppurtunities in the public sector for the IT engineers so you need to work only in the private sectors , and you have to learn some extra skills in order to secure agood job whiuch is out of your circulam so that you can definetly get a good job in your future , all the best for your future 

For engineering in CS you should do as below

• score above 90 in boards
• score well and secure a rank in atleast under 15000 for a very good college
• give private entrance exams and score well also in that like BITSAT, VITEEE etc
