sir if I will take basic in maths in 10th then can I take science in 12th

Hi Saswat,

Basic Mathematics shall bear a separate examination code and shall have a separate question paper. The same will be mentioned on the certificate given to the student.

Yes, you can opt for Science in +2 but you cannot opt for Mathematics or have it even as the additional subject. Students opting for basic mathematics can take up Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science of IP in classes 11 and 12. They can subsequently take up medical education and appear for NEET or appear for other UG courses.

Hi,

If you choose Basic Mathematics, then you would not be able to take non-medical stream. But, you can surely take Medical field as it does not have Mathematics subject. If you want to take non-medical, then it is necessary to take Mathematics advanced in class 10 under CBSE.
