NTA now does not give total marks obtained by you in JEE Mains exam instead it gives now NTA score which means your percentile is your NTA score.So you have to tell your percentile or NTA score if you want to ask query regarding your admission chances.Percentile is your relative performance comparison to all the students who has given exam with you on same session.

The result for JEE mains is always given in the form of percentiles and never in form of marks. Percentile is a comparative score which is calculated considering all the factors including paper difficulty as the exam is held in multiple shifts, thus it is important to adopt a normalization method.
