Yes, both semi-government and private BAMS colleges usually ask for a discontinuation bond.
The purpose is the same:  to make sure students don’t leave the course midway.
But the rules and penalty amount in the bond can be different.
Private colleges may ask for higher penalties compared to semi-govt ones.
So always read the bond carefully before you sign anything.
