If you are filling the JNV class 6 admission form for 2026, and the Aadhaar card has only the mother’s name, the father’s name box may not open because the portal automatically picks the parent’s name from Aadhaar records . In such a case, you should first check and update your child's Adhaar card details at the nearest Aadhaar centre to include or correct the father’s name if required. After the update, you can re enter the Aadhaar details in the form. If time is short, contact the JNV helpdesk or your nearest  Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya for guidance . They may advise you to proceed with the current details and submit a declaration or supporting documents during verification.
