As far as i am concerned , if during the time of registration you have marked yourself as general then in no scenario you will be considered an ews candidate. You will be able to participate in the councelling as per the norms laid for a genral candidate. You can edit your from only once . Candidates are given prior information about the same. The form window is made accesible to the candidates for that purpose. Once you miss out there then i believe theres no way out.
