The institute is managed by the Govt. Of Maharashtra and affiliated with Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj (RTM) Nagpur University. Institute of Forensic Science is awarded “A Center with Potential for Excellence” and “A Jewel in a Crown”. The institute provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs in forensic science.
