Yes, you can get admission to B.Tech if you have passed minimum 3 year Diploma in Engineering from a recognized board. Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering can apply for admission to 2 year B.Tech admission through lateral entry. The admission process is conducted separately by each state. The admission may depend on marks scored in qualifying exam that is Diploma in Engineering or entrance examination. Each college has its own criteria to give out the admission, you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the institute in which you are interested to seek admission.
