Hi aspirant,
In order to be eligible for the CAT Exam, the candidate has to pass at least theirBachelor's degreewith at least 50% (for General Category and for candidates from the NC-OBC caste). For SC/ST and Differently Abled (DA) candidates, the percentage required is 45%. So if you belong from gen category you wont be able to appear for CAT exam.

And for CAt ciunselling 77% is weightage given for CAT score and 10% for 12 score. If you are abke to score great marks in CAT score you may get good colleges.
