NT & VJ comes under OBC category for admission into educational institute like NIT/IIT. But you should have submitted you're reservation category certificate earlier only.

I  don't understand the caste that you're talking about. You will have reservation, if your caste is included in the central list for OBC or SC or ST. You can check that.

But, if you have given yourselves as GENERAL during application process of JEE Main, you won't be considered under the reserved category, even if you are.
