Yes you can attempt the UPSC Civil Services exam in 2026 if you belong to any reserved category like OBC, SC, ST.

Your date of birth: 03 September 1991

For the general category the maximum age limit is 32 years as of 1st august of the exam year.

• for UPSC 2026 the cutoff date is 01 august 2026

• you will be 34 years old on that date

• so you are not eligible if you are from the general or EWS category.

• for OBC the age limit is 35 years

• for SC/ST the age limit is 37 years

So, you can attempt UPSC in 2026 only if you are OBC, SC, or ST.
