Hello Moninder, I don't think you would be getting any seat in any other state NITs. I would suggest you apply in any home state NIT because by doing so you can easily avail home state quota and it would be comparatively easy to secure a seat. But there is a very slim chance that you will get any seat on the basis of your rank and given that you come from general category. You should try in other government/private colleges in the home state. As you have not specified your native state, it's very tough to predict any college. There are many top private colleges like Thapar, DAIICT, Nirma and other colleges but I don't think you would get admission if you are from another state.
