Dear Krishna, for claiming PWD reservation, your range of disability shouldbe 40% or below. If you have 40%, you will be eligible for PWD reservation. Now MCC has designated Disability Assessment Centres who will assess your impairment and give you a certificate.You can access this list at mcc.nic.in. Only evaluation from these mentioned disability assessment centres is considered. If the impairment is more than 40%, you do not qualify for PWD reservation. And coming to the reservation, PWD reservation is a horizontal reservation which means, you get PWD reservation within your Category like General Category-PWD, OBC-PWD, SC-PWD, ST-PWD. So based upon your Category and the State you belong to, the cut offs will vary.
