As you're in the 1st semester right now, you can change your subject easily. All you need to do is you have to go to your college examination department and need to talk to the staffs, explain them your problem and they will tell you what to do next. They might ask you to submit an application.

yes , it is possible to change your subject in B.A first semester only if the semester exam has not been conducted yet.

For changing the subject the candidate need to visit the examination department of the respective college and get the  correction form and submit it after filling the required details and the subject needs to be changed. Once processed the subject will get changed.
