No need to worry, you can easily get your caste certificate. What you need to do is that, 

You have to first make your GAP certificate which will validate your one year gap in studies. 

Then you need to present that GAP certificate for your caste certificate. 

I don't think that there will be any problem if you are having a gap certificate.
