 Automobile Engineering is the branch of mechanical department that deals with automotive parts, manufacturing, operating and designing automobiles. Other elements like software, mechanical, tools will be incorporated for manufacture and design of bikes, trucks, buses and other vehicles.

Scope:

An automotive engineer can work in private transport companies, military or defense services, national and multinational automobile companies, service stations etc. There is also scope for entrepreneurship after attaining a diploma in Automobile Engineering; you can set up your own Automobile workshop or Maintenance garage.

A research enthusiast in this field spends a lot of time researching and designing the machines and the working of systems for automobiles. First, the designs are presented in blueprints. Automobile engineers then use physical and mathematical principles to the presented plans to make sure they are viable. The planning is done after valuable research, and then changed or modified again after crosschecking the plans to the available research.
