Hello aspirant. Councelling is process where candidates who have scored higher than the cut off are invited, and seats are allotted accordingly. For example, if the cut off was 2000 rank for a college you want to be admitted in and your rank is 1300, you have to apply for counseling, pay councelling fees and appear for counseling. There seats are allotted on the basis of rank, higher ranks first. Wait until your name is called, submit documents and have a seat.
