There is no need to be disheartened if you couldn't score well in PCB group exam there are often other doors opening when one closes. Right now you have two options ( I m presuming you didn't give any other entrance exam), one, you can take a drop and prepare again this time with more focus and determination. Two, taking up admission in state college with 12th board percentage. 

I suggest believe in yourself and go for the first option and work hard!
