The National Defence Academy is the joint defence service training institute of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets of the three services i.e. the Indian Army, the Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force train together before they go on to respective service academy for further pre-commission training..

Candidates aged between 16.5 and 19.5 years and those who have passed 12th could apply for NDA exam 2021. UPSC has also increased the number of exam centres for the NDA 2 2021 exam. The exam centres are now 75.
