Hello,

Candidates who have completed class 10 with minimum percentage can join in polytechnic. Now, each state conducts it own exam or counselling process for admission in diploma. So you need to appear in the entrance exam conducted by your state. The admission may depend on merit in entrance exam or merit in class 10.After getting admission in 3 year diploma in engineering you can get admission in Engineering 2nd year through lateral entry. The admission again depends on merit in entrance exam or merit in diploma.
