Yes, the diploma holders in pharmacy can join directly the 2 year.

The lateral entry to p.harm second year is allowed by pharmacy council of India. Those candidates who have completed Diploma.Pharm course are eligible to lateral entry in 2nd year of b.pharma course. In Madurai medical college there are 60 seats for regular candidate and 6 seats for lateral entry.
