Sir.I have a question. If a student has less than 75% & also not belong top 20per(GEN) .he has a good mark in main. Can he get NIT or not?

Hello

You cant be eligible for JEE Mains under this condition. You have to score atleast 75% marks or be in top 20 percentile for qualifying JEE Mains.
However for SC/ST, this should be atleast 65%.

75% marks in the qualifying exam is mandatory for taking admission in IIT/NIT/IIIT as per the new rule,so it is not possible to get NIT.

Yes 75% marks in qualifying exam and the candidate must be in the top 20 percentile.
