Hello,

Thapar University is a highly reputed University, right after NITs. So if you wish to pursue B. Tech in Biotechnology, go for it.
Since this University accepts NEET score, make sure you have a good rank.

Now coming to the second part of your question. There are quite a number of career opportunities after graduating with a Biotechnology degree. Here are a list of few:

  • You can look for jobs in the various core departments like Nestle, etc.
  • You can work as Lab Technician, Clinical researcher, Pharmacist, Medical writing executive, Microbiologists, Production manager, Medical representative etc. after completing your specialization in MTech
  • You can choose to go for a integrated PhD degree in India or Abroad and later pursue jobs in the teaching sector or RnD.

Hope this answers your doubts.
