Hello Subash

EEE branch is quite different from software engineering

in EEE branch you will study a part of electrical engineering and a part of eelectronics and just a spark of and engineering of CSE

If you have passion of software engineering and are intersted in coding, programming, etc than you should go for software engineering

Its an emerging branch with lot of placements and jobs.

Good luck!

Hi Subhash!!!! I would like to inform you that it totally depends on your interest and the subjects you like and have passion for, if your passion is coding you should always go for software or if you like circuits you should always opt for EEE. If I come to the opportunities, yes recruitments are higher in software as the concepts of mass recruitments are there but they select students from all streams. So, please pursue what you want and you think you can excel.
Hope that helped. Thank you
