In sm shetty college, the eligibility criteria set by the college for the general category is that the students must have scored 45% in their 10+2 and for obc/sc/st category the student must have scored at least 40% in their 10+2 to get eligible for the further admission process.
The placement at this college is good as on an average 60% of the students have got placement every year and the average salary offered was 2.5 lacs per annum, which is good enough for UG students.
