A software engineering is a professional designation which has no entrance examination. It is a job designation an Employer gives its Employee for specific job profiles. If your question is the entrance examination to study to become a software engineer, then you should complete your12th with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biotechnology. Then you to have to appear for entrance examinations like JEE Mains, WBJEE, MET, VITEE, etc. And you have to study Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology to become technically and academically equipped to become a software engineer. Now there are other streams that you can study and then do a certification course but Computer Science and IT are two of the famous and sought after branches.
