to become a software engineer after 12th you must go for bachelors of technology in either computer science branch or in information technology branch which is of 4 years ,if you are from commerce stream and not fulfilling the engineering criteria but still want to go in coding field teh you can go for bachelor of computer applications (BCA) which is of 3 years

to go further in same field then after completing your graduation you can go for  mtech and mca in same field.
