In 1676 , Olaus Roemer , a Danish Astronomer , successfully measured the speed of light.Generally speed of the light in air is 1.0003 times is slower than the speed of the light in Vacuum.The speed of the light in air is 299704644.54 m/s.But it generally taken as 3*10^8 m/s.
