Komal since you are actually looking for different government colleges which are good, I would suggest you 2-3 colleges like...

1. JBIMS mumbai(MH CET)

2. FMS Delhi (CAT)

3. SIMSREE (MH CET, CAT, CMAT, ATMA)

Though these colleges are government but the entrance used by them are quiet different and henceforth you will have to choose the exam accordingly. Trying for a specific college means preparing accordingly and since every exam is different you should have a clear idea about all the aspects and colleges you can apply. In terms of ROI FMS is the best where as JBIMS is called as the CEO factory. Though it is not clear that JBIMS will accept other exams than MH CET so a close eye on the targeted colleges would be the key for college admissions. Also you cannot apply now for any college since all the procedures and exams are almost done. Try for next year and prepare accordingly.

Hi Komal,
As you are talking about the government colleges, I think you are searching colleges with good ROI. & when it comes to MBA, that is your last degree, that you are going to do. So, you must do MBA from atleast from TOP 40 B-SCHOOLS, that you can start your career with good packages.
So, here I'm giving list of good colleges with ROI for MBA -
  • FMS (CAT)
  • IIT KANPUR (CAT)
  • DFS, Delhi University (CAT)
  • DSE, Delhi University (CAT)
  • TISS MUMBAI (TISSNET)
  • JBIMS, Mumbai (CAT, MAHCET, CMAT)
  • UBS Chandigarh (CAT)

Admission is almost done for those colleges for 2019 session. You should appear in CAT this November & try to score atleast 92-93+ percentile to get calls from these colleges.

Look farther I told MBA is your last degree in your educational career, so do MBA from good B-Schools.
I don't think at your score you can get any good government colleges. According to CMAT cutoffs you can't even get any colleges or if you got any college at this percentile, it will not worth it.
No, no good colleges are open for admission of fresh candidates. In my suggestion you should re-appear for MBA, & work hard.
Target CAT & TISSNET.
TISS Mumbai is one of the top colleges for MA in HR. Their total fees is 2lacs & average placement for HR in 18lacs. Also various courses are their or if you target CAT, atleast score 90 percentile in CAT & target Delhi school of economics or Department of financial studies. Both of the colleges are great in terms of ROI. The fees of both colleges around 50k & average placement is 9lacs & highest package gone upto 20lacs. So, target this colleges, that you can start your career with a kick. Hope you understood.
